US State secretary Mike Pompeo condemned the “shameful hypocrisy” of China over its way to treat with the Muslims as he met an ex-prisoner and relatives who described the abuses had occurred in the widespread detention sector of Beijing for its Uighur minority.
US State secretary, Mike Pompeo also tweeted, “China must release all those arbitrarily detained and end its repression ”. He claimed, “ The world cannot afford China’s shameful hypocrisy toward Muslims. On one hand, China abuses more than a million Muslims at home, but on the other, it protects violent Islamic terrorist groups from sanctions at the UN”.
US State Secretary was mentioning the efforts of China at the United Nations for preventing the rescinding of Islamist activist Masood Azhar. Azhar’s group Jaish-e-Mohammed admitted the responsibility over a terrible attack in the last month on Indian military troops in Kashmir which instigated military encounter.
The supreme US diplomat met with Mihrigul Tursun, a Uighur who has expressed publicly about the widespread torment in the prison of China on the minority group of China.
She claimed that she was separated from her children and she had to stay in a detaining center in a restricted cell with 60 other women, who had experienced electrocution and brutal beatings during round-the-clock strict interrogations.
The State Department claimed that Mike Pompeo also met with three other Uighurs whose relatives are captured by China, which as per the un report has delayed a massive one million Uighurs as it seeks potently to mingle the minority group.
China declines the happenings of mass detention, claiming it is overseeing educational training centers as part of a fight against Islamic extremism, in the Northwestern region of Xinjiang.
