The letter written by the U.S President Donald Trump announced his termination from what would have been the first-ever meeting between the North Korean leader and a serving U.S president.
On Friday North Korea countered a ponderous attitude towards Donald Trump’s decision to scrap a momentous summit between the Kim Jong much anticipated to be held in the next month. It said that Pyongyang looked at a sunny side for a “Trump formula” in order to reconcile the impasse over its nuclear weapons program.
The U.S President wrote a letter to Kim on Thursday. The contents of the letter divulged his exit from what has been a freshman between a serving US President and a North Korean leader in Singapore.
“Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it would be inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting,”- wrote the U.S President Donald Trump.
On Friday Kim Kye Gwan the North Korean vice foreign minister was appeased and expressed admiration for Trump’s efforts. The repeated threats by North Korea to shove off the summit lead to the announcement of the U.S president. However the US officials put forth disruptive remarks.
“We have inwardly highly appreciated President Trump for having made the bold decision, which any other US presidents dared not, and made efforts for such a crucial event as the summit,”- said Kim while addressing a social media interview.
“We even inwardly hoped that what is called “Trump formula” would help clear both sides of their worries and comply with the requirements of our side and would be a wise way of substantial effect for settling the issue,”- he added.
Minister Taro Kono the Japanese Foreign Minister said that Tokyo fathoms with the decision of Trump.
