US President Donald Trump told North Korea has enough potential to be one of the “great economic powers ” of the world if it renounces its nuclear arsenal, ahead of his meeting with Kim Jong Un.
In a string of tweets, on the period of his departure for the summit in this week in Hanoi. The US President also admired Russia and China for imposing sanctions on North Korea while urging he had a “great relationship with Chairman Kim”.
He wrote, “ Chairman Kim realizes, perhaps better than anyone else, that without nuclear weapons, his country could fast become one of the great economic powers anywhere in the world. Because of its location and people (and him), it has more potential for rapid growth than any other nation!”
The US President told him and Chinese President “ both expect a continuation of the progress made at first Summit in Singapore. Denuclearization?”
The pioneering summit in June between two global economic power produced only an uncertain statement on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
North Korean leader is requiring the boosting of penalizing sanctions while Washington persists that the estimation must remain in place until North Korea leave its nuclear arsenal.
In his tweet, the US President told highly of Chinese President Xi Jinping, claiming he had been “very helpful” for his support for the important summit.
Chinese President told, “ The last thing China wants is large scale nuclear weapons right next door. Sanctions placed on the border by China and Russia have been very helpful.”
