Retail Billionaire Of Denmark Loses 3 Children in Sri Lanka Attack - TNBC USA

Three children of retail billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen lost their lives in the attacks in Sri Lanka according to a representative for his company. The entrepreneur from Denmark owns clothing Bestseller company, which is the largest shareholder in British fashion retailer Asos along with a stake of over 26%. He also owns a 10% stake in German online retailer Zalando.

The media stated, “ we can confirm that Anders lost three children in the attack,” Jesper Stubkier, Bestseller’s communication manager”. Stubkier refused to comment any more, mentioning the requirement “ to respect the privacy of the family”.  Holch Povlsen along with his wife, Anne have four children, as per to Danish media.

At least 290 people died in the mass bombings in the island nation on the holiest day of Christians. At least 39 of those were foreigners from countries including India, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Yet no group has claimed any responsibility for this brutal terror bombings. A government minister stated the chain of bombings as a “brand new type of terrorism”, after a decade long peace in the island nations.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires, Holch Povlsen is worth $5.7 billion index. This turned him as the 304th richest person in the world.
