On Thursday, Japan has decided to take part in the United States plan for putting astronauts back on the Moon by 2024 and the Japanese Government will officially inform the United States of American within 2019, said sources. 

The decision to take part in the plan was taken by the Cabinet’s Office Space Policy Committee, informed the local media sources.
