“Don’t Know Who is Using It ” Trump’s Taunt to PM Modi For Afgan Library

The US President Donald Trump taunted at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sponsoring a library in Afghanistan, recommending it was of no use. The US President raised the aid of India in a strolling press appearance at a cabinet meeting as he shielded his move for the United States for investing less foreign sector.

Stating the companionship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi the US said, “constantly telling me he built a library in Afghanistan. ”

He said, “ You know what that is? That’s like five hours of what we spend”. According to Donald Trump, “ And we’re supposed to say, ‘Oh, thank you for the library.’ I don’t know who’s using it in Afghanistan”.

It was not clear to which project he was mentioning, nut India has accredited $3 billion as an aid to Afghanistan since  US-led forces overthrew the Taliban authorities after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Projects have comprised the reconstruction of a notable high school in Kabul and scholarships to India for 1,000 Afghan students each year. Initiating the Afghan parliament constructing in 2015 after reconstruction proceedings financed by India. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to promote programmes “empowering Afghan youth with modern education and professional skills. ”

India has been one of the most devoted countries over the US mission in Afghanistan, where the former Taliban authority shielded fiercely anti-Indian terrorists.

But the significant role of India alerted Pakistan, whose intelligence services continued the bonding to activists in Afghanistan has been observed by analysts in part as a way to encounter New Delhi.
