On Thursday more than 200 scientists in an open letter to the Geneva-based body to revisit their research and claimed the virus has the potential to be aerosol.

There have been reported outbreaks of COVID-19 in some close setting, such as restaurants, nightclubs, places of worship, or places of work where people maybe shouting, talking, or singing,” the WHO said revising the submitted report from the agency.

The World Health Organization on Thursday has issued new guidelines for the Novel Corona Virus acknowledging some reports of airborne spread. As per the current guidelines, Covid-19 transmission may occur through close contact through an infected individual, directly or indirectly through saliva, respiratory secretion, cough, or sneeze.

The Body has emphasized for high-level research urgently to understand the nature of the Virus spread through airborne.

In addition, the agency also informed to avoid close contact with infected people, wash hands-on intervals, avoid places with poor ventilation systems and crowded places.
