Chinese representative further said that Bangladesh and Myanmar would seek benefit from the bullet train project.
Mr. Zhanwu continued that “We may have a cluster of industries along the route. That increases the possibility of economic development of countries involved in the 2,800 km-long projects.”
The project also mentioned at the GMS (Greater Mekong Sub-region) meets in 2015 in Kunming, he added.
The new rail route objected to enhance trade flow in Bangladesh-India-China-Myanmar (BICM) corridor. He said that China has been striving for the restoration of the Silk route to increase connectivity from Kolkata to Kunming.
