All accused plotters and those who were directly related to Sri Lanka Easter Sunday’s suicide bombing attacks have either been detained or are dead, reports Sri Lanka’s acting Police Chief.

In an audio declaration circulated by the Defence Ministry, the country’s acting Inspector General of Police Chandana Wickramaratne said that the security forces had also seized bomb-making material used for future use by the militants involved in the attacks, which took the lives of over 250 people.

Sri Lankan Authorities have further reported that the bombings were believed to have been carried out by ISIS outfits, Jamathei Millathu Ibrahim (JMI), and National Tawheed Jamaath (NTJ). Therefore, ISIS has claimed responsibility behind the suicide bombing attacks.
