On Wednesday, the United States President Donald Trump has said that he would outline more details with 48-hours about increased sanctions of the United States on Iran, after announced them earlier over Twitter.
While speaking in Los Angeles, President Trump was quoted saying that his thinking towards Iran hasn’t changed but refused to share any details about his next steps. The US President told sources that the ultimate option after the weekend drone strikes on Saudi Arabian oil installations would led to war but there were other options as well.
President Trump was quoted saying, “We’ll be adding some very significant sanctions onto Iran.”
Earlier, President Trump has said that he has instructed the US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to “substantially” increase economic sanctions on Iran.
When enquired if he was looking forward at a military strike, the US President has said that the country has “many options”.
“There’s the ultimate option and there are options that are a lot less than that,” President Trump said, explaining “ultimate option” meant “war”.

The United States is constantly blaming at Iran for the drone attack on Aramco oil installations, which overturned Saudi Arabia’s oil output. The drone attacks have also been claimed by Yemen’s Houthi Rebels, who are supporters of Tehran.
However, Iran has without having any hand in the strike as regional tensions soars amid speculation of reprisals from the United States and its allies.
