On Wednesday, a US military fighter jet crashed in the California Desert, near a Navy Air Station, said the military officials, left the destiny of the pilot unknown yet.
The F/A-18E Super Hornet got down at around 10:00 AM PDT (1 PM EDT), said Public Affair Officer of Joint Strike Fighter Wing Lt. Cmdr. Lydia Bock in a written statement.
She continued that the rescue and search crews were present at the spot of the crash, which is the East of Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, in California.
The cause of the incident near Death Valley in under probe, she added.
