On Thursday, a passenger flight from Russia has overshot the runway, crashed into a building and immediately caught fire at an airport in Siberia, reports official, took the lives of two crew members.
The small An-24 plane, way from Ulan-Ude in Siberia, was venturing an emergency landing at Nizhneangarsk Airport, said the regional government of Buryatia.
But the flight went 100-meters off the tarmac and got “crashed into a waste treatment facility building.”
It claims on its official Insta account, “the plane caught fire.”
Two crew members had shot dead and 43 passengers were injured, including a child, had survived.
Investigation Team has introduced a probe into possible violation of air safety measure, said the transport investigators of Eastern Siberia in a statement.
The aircraft belongs to regional Angara airline and it was on a regular flight.
