US President Donald Trump declared he would appoint Patric Shanahan as Defence Secretary replacing Jim Mattis, after the quitting of the Pentagon Chief referring the differences with the US President’s opinion on the key policy of the issues. Giving effort more quickly on the decision of departure of Jim Mattis by two months, the Republican leader tweeted, “I am pleased to announce that our very talented Deputy Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan, will assume the title of Acting Secretary of Defense starting January 1, 2019 ”.

The US President added, “ Patrick has a long list of accomplishments while serving as Deputy, & previously Boeing. He will be great!”
