On Thursday, the United States President Donald Trump has said that an alternative location for his signing of the US-China Trade Deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping will be “announced soon”, followed by the cancellation of APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation) Summit in Chile.

The partial trade deal, termed as phase one, had been long due for signing on the sidelines of the APEC Summit, which Chile has cancelled last night due to violent unrest in the capital Santiago.

President Trump tweets, “China and the USA are working on selecting a new site for signing.”

“The new location will be announced soon. President Xi and President Trump will do signing!” he added.

Meanwhile, China has further recommended Macau as a possible venue to sign the US-China Trade Deal, informed a Chinese source.
