According to a Chinese senior diplomat kindling the trade, controversy is “naked economic terrorism”, instigating the expression against the United  States amid a resentful trade war which is presenting no indications of ending soon.

Trade agitations between Washington and Beijing mounted intensely earlier this month after the Trump administration charged China of having “reneged” on its previous pledges for making structural changes to its economic customs.

Later Washington punched additional tariffs of up to 25% on $200 billion of Chinese goods, triggering Beijing to counterattack.

Rebuking to the reporters in Beijing, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui claimed China conflicted the use of “big sticks”  like trade sanctions, protectionism, and tariffs. Zhang said, while questioned about the trade war with the United States, “ we oppose a trade war but are not afraid of a trade war. This kind of deliberately provoking trade disputes is naked economic terrorism, economic homicide, economic bullying”.

He added, everyone, deprived in the trade war, inscribing a briefing on the Chinese President Jinping’s state tour to Russia next week, while he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and talk about at the forum of a major investor in St Petersburg.

Zhang added, “this trade clash will have a serious negative effect on global economic development and recovery ”.

He said, “we will definitely properly deal with all external challenges, do our own thing well, develop our economy, and continue to raise the living standards of our two peoples ”, citing to Russia and China.

He also added, “ at the same time, we have the confidence, resolve and ability to safeguard our country’s sovereignty, security, respect and security, and development interests.”

China has reinforced its criticism of Washington since the United States this month shifted to escalated tariffs on the Chinese imported products embargoed tech giant Huawei Technologies Co Ltd.
