Ex-Navy Commander Should Have Capture Bin Laden Rapidly, according to Trump - TNBC USA

US President Donald Trump criticized retired admin William H. Mc Raven as an “Obama backer” and a “Hillary Clinton fan” and advised that the former head of US Special Operations Command should have captured Osama Bin Laden faster.

The US President made the comments in an interview on Fox News with Chris Wallace. This comment represents the current point of tension between US President and retired and former general officers who mocked publicly the commander-in-chief for his decisions about military matters and national security.

A former Navy SEAL, McRaven overlooked the operation of 2011 which killed Osama Bin Laden, at the compound of Abbottabad in Pakistan.

As US President, Donald Trump reversed the security clearance of CIA director John Brennan in the summer, McRaven professed Brennan as a man of peerless unification in the article of The Washington Post and also asked the US President to void his clearance. McRaven also pinched Trump more broadly.

McRaven wrote, “Like most Americans, I had hoped that when you became president, you would rise to the occasion and become the leader this great nation needs. A good leader tries to embody the best qualities of his or her organization. A good leader sets the example for others to follow. A good leader always puts the welfare of others before himself or herself”.

Mc Raven also added, “Your leadership, however, has shown little of these qualities. Through your actions, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation.”
