“Concerned” Over Rising Tensions On Israel-Lebanon Border, Says United States - TNBC USA

On Sunday, the United States has voiced concern after Hezbollah and Israel has exchanged firing along the Lebanese Border, banged the “destabilizing role” of Iranian delegate in the Middle East. 

The State Department Official has said that “we are aware of these reports and are concerned about the escalating tensions along the border.

He continued that “the United States fully supports Israel’s right to self defense,” has warned that “Hezbollah should refrain from hostile actions which threaten Lebanon’s security, stability and sovereignty.”

“This is another example of the destabilizing role of Iranian proxies in undermining peace and security in the region,” added the official.

Hezbollah, a Lebanese Shiite Movement, is backed by Iran.
