While the Brazilian Football authority declared the sudden death of 24-year-old midfielder Daniel Correa, who was already found practically beheaded and genitals cut off.

The parent club of the football Sao Paulo FC with which he had joined in 2015, held their players for a minute silently before training for paying tribute to Correa.

São Paulo stated that he was “found dead this weekend”. Other clubs of Brazil and players also paid their tribute.

According to the police of Southern Parana state, the body of Correa had been found in a rural zone on the edges of the state capital Curitiba. The investigation authority said about his death that it was too “advanced” and that members of his family would face interview.

Folha de S.Paulo newspaper has been told by a police source that the throat of Correa had been slashed with a blade so widely that his head was almost cut off entirely. His genitals had been almost separated.

Brazil is considered one of the most crucial countries among all the countries where last year 63,880 people have been murdered.

The United Nations reviewed the murder rate which is greater than 10 per 100,000 citizens as the gateway for doorstep violence.

Once an expectation at the giants Cruzeiro of Brazil, in the powerhouse club of his home state of Minas Gerais, Correa made his debut professionally at Rio de Janeiro outfit Botafogo in 2013, alongside Dutch great Clarence Seedorf.
