US President Donald Trump again intimidated about sealing the US-Mexican border, stating in the tweet that Southern neighbor of America is allowing illicit immigrants to cross without any hindrance.
The President wrote, “ May close the Southern Border”. He said, “ Mexico is doing nothing to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants to our Country. They are all talking and no action”. He also added, “ Likewise, Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador have taken our money for years, and do Nothing. The Dems don’t care, such as BAD laws.”
The new ultimatum to padlock one of the busiest borders, splitting two countries with huge economic and cultural links, presents the US President is repeating on his demand to make immigration a central stone of the assembling 2020 reelection campaign.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado declined the criticism of the US President, stating journalists: “We are doing something on this issue ”. He also said, “We are going to help in every way we can. We don’t in any way want a confrontation with the United States ”.
But Lopez Obrador told a resolution would depend on “fundamentally addressing the causes of migration. ”
