Pompeo Claims More Sanctions to Come In Venezuela - TNBC USA

US State Secretary Mike Pompeo told that the United States would take action additionally to pressurize the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro who is surrounded by the enemies, after the death of several people in the clashes while the military forces of the country were preventing to block humanitarian aid from making entry to the country.

 

US State Secretary Mike Pompeo, told in a statement, “There are more sanctions to be had. There’s more humanitarian assistance, I think, that we can provide”. He added, “ I think we’ll find other ways to make sure that food gets to the people who need it, and we will.

 

US State Secretary included that “ further action will be contemplated” at a meeting of the Lima Group, the diplomatic body which was established in 2017 for assisting the ally of the Venezuelan crisis.

While Nicolas Maduro tore the diplomatic relations with Colombia, violence sparkles at the border of Venezuela.

He also berated against the critics accusing that the White House was operating the aid as a negotiating weapon or stimulant to make a change in ruling power.

US State Secretary Mike Pompeo told, “ This aid went in … at the request of the legitimate president of Venezuela”, citing the US-supported opposition leader Juan Guido. He told, “ Please bring food to my people. Please bring medicine to the sick that are here.’ That’s what we’ve been working on these past few weeks.”

While Tapper questioned about the response of Mike Pompeo referring the preceding examples of the United States illegal dealing of weapons along with humanitarian aid. He responded, “ It’s just humanitarian aid.” He also added, “ it was “USAID-marked” and that other countries have also assisted aid operations”.

US State Secretary Mike Pompeo referred Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro as a ‘sick tyrant’ over the aid prevention. Questioned whether the substantial oil of Venezuela played a role in the United States  focus on the clash, Mike Pompeo told, “We’re aimed at a singular mission — ensuring that the Venezuelan people get the democracy that they so richly deserve and that the Cubans, and the Russians who have been driving this country into the ground for years and years and years no longer hold sway.

He also added that the military of Venezuela  is currently acting to give backing to Maduro, if they started to protect  the people, “ I think good things will happen including the restoration of the wealth that was created by those oil fields.
