New Press Secretary of the White House, Stephanie Grisham was crushed in a tussle between North Korean security and the group of US press pool who was covering the meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump, reported by the Press.
In a video footage, the incident has been seen that US President became the first sitting US President to visit North Korea and days after Grisham took on the job.
The Secret Service interrupted as North Korean guards pushed and rammed US reporters to prevent them from entering the Inter-Korean House of Freedom-South of the border, where the US President and Kim were meeting.
According to the statement of the journalist, new White House Press Secretary, Stephanie Grisham came forward to help the US media to provide access during a chaotic scene.
In video footage, Grisham seems harsh directing members of the press, “Go, go!” as she forces past a man standing in front of a camera. Another member carrying a camera runs through the gap she leaves.
Before the tussle, press outside the building had been told they would not be let in. But then a US official said they were allowed.
In the Video footage, a woman was roaring for the US pool to enter amid uproar voices. A senior reporter of White House at Bloomberg, Jennifer Jacobs wrote, “ the North Korean security was a little overzealous, at times trying to block US reporters’ view”.
Later, Grisham could be seen directing the members of the US press pool outside the House of Freedom and was with the US President at the DMZ, according to media.
White House and Grisham did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
The US President came forward across the border in a demilitarized zone between North and South Korea after four months of the last nuclear discussions between to global power, broke down in Vietnam.
