Co-founder, as well as CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg professed his opinion about the influential power of the social-media giant on Monday, describing the role of  Facebook as a “positive” manifestation of the society as the negative predominance surrounded social network giant marked its 15th anniversary.

As currently, Facebook is countering massive criticism over the issues of misleading and manipulated information, the social network giant founder, Zuckerberg told it would be a mistake, “to overly emphasize the negative ”  impacts on the social media and the internet.

The co-founder, as well as Chief executive, told he observes a profound social revolutions “as networks of people connected via the Internet replace traditional hierarchies and reshape institutions from government to business to media ”.

In a post on the Facebook page of the Chief executive, he told that , “while any rapid social change creates uncertainty, I believe what we’re seeing is people having more power, and a long term trend reshaping society to be more open and accountable over time. ”

He claimed that the other social networks and Facebook have radically changed the paces of the interaction of society with institutions and communities.

He added in his post, “I’ll never forget how right after we launched News Feed, we saw millions of people organise marches against violence in Colombia. We saw communities come together to do a real fundraiser ”.

Zuckerberg also added: “If the last 15 years were about people building these new networks and starting to see their impact, then the next 15 years will be about people using their power to remake society in ways that have the potential to be profoundly positive for decades to come. ”As a social network giant  Facebook experienced unrivaled progress by gathering together more than 2.3 billion people worldwide who use social network actively for sharing updates, obtaining informations , as well as connecting with new people.

Facebook co-founder admitted that facebook requires to do more to regain trust , and wipe out the allegation of abuse, misleading information scandal of 2018, and also professed his initiatives to spend more “ on safety and security”.
