Kolkata Knight Riders look forward to gaining victory against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Qualifier 2 scheduled to be played at the Eden Gardens Kolkata on Friday.
It seems that the SRH still maintains a good vibe, despite its past defeats prior to the Friday’s qualifier against the KKR. “They are probably the favorites,”- said the bowling coach of Kolkata Knight Riders, Heath Streak.
“T20 games are won or lost in a matter of two or three overs. So, we need to forget that and focus on tomorrow,”- said wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Sah from the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Streak spoke about the pros of being supported by a vehement environment of the Eden gardens. KKR would drive towards their fourth consecutive victory. He added that it was quite difficult to assume how the team had won nine of their 11 matches in the IPL 2018.
The past few games have experienced a superb bowling from the side of the Kolkata team. Kolkata Knight Riders, bowlers have assisted the team while pulling off victory every time. They have put the team into a good balance. On Wednesday successive deliveries were prompted towards the Kings Xi Punjab after the time when Russell got wickets off.
“He has pace and height. He is not letting batsmen guess what ball is coming next. Guys like Jaspreet Bumrah came on the scene doing exactly what he has. He is another one of those names IPL has unearthed,”- said Streak.
Later he added that- “I still think in the first 10 overs we can improve and if we can do that tomorrow and continue what we have been doing at the middle and backend, we can really put them under a lot of pressure,”
KKR have a much-experienced bowling team. However, the SRH have wing bowlers who perplex Virat Kohli. A delicate decision holds back for the match.
