Higuaín leaves Juventus on mutual agreement

The Argentine Striker’s contract has been officially terminated on mutual consent with the Juventus Club.

The club on Thursday announced the news after the agent Higuaín’s brother made the negotiations with them last week. The expectation is Higuain as a free agent will join MLS side Inter Miami. As per the report, Gonzalo Higuaín after joining the club will become the highest-paid player at a salary of €7.5m per season.

A statement released by Juventus confirmed that early termination has generated a negative economic impact on the balance sheet of €18.3m, due to the residual devaluation of the player.

It is clear the age is proving a factor for the striker as he is not playing as he used to play earlier. Plus Juventus has already planned to incorporate Suarez in their attacking fleet.
