Messi likely to stay at Barcelona, negotiation continues - TNBC USA

The Transfer saga of Lionel Messi still continues. The Goat is not happy and wants to leave the club but the club on other hand want Messi to stay till 2022.

Messi’s father Jorge Messi on Wednesday had a meeting with Barcelona’s president Josep Maria Bartomeu. But the Meeting went out to be unsuccessful.

Unhappy Messi skipped the first pre-session training on Monday pre-session training and also didn’t showed up on Sunday for the medical test.

According to the Spanish daily Marca, this action of Messi can sanction him from playing in the first-team squad or may be fined 25% of his monthly salary.

Clubs like Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Inter Milan have shown interest in the Argentine. Since Messi’s contract ends on June 2021, if any club can play the release clause of €700 million, the Spanish Giant will have to sell Messi Legally.

With the departure of Ivan Rakitic to his former club and Luis Suarez’s personal agreement with Juventus has been done already. It’s needless to say with a new Dutch Manager in the club it’s clear that the Spanish giant is eager to build up a new team around Messi this new season.

The tussle between Messi’s unwillingness and the club’s determination to keep him still continues. It’s now a matter of time to see the actual outcome.
