London March 29- Injury prone Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana began his prep rations for the forthcoming World Cup 2018 to be held in Russia. The young footballer had to sit outside the ground due to injury. He told the media that he was very much optimistic to find a place in the England Squad of Gareth Southgate in Russia. He compared himself with Darren Anderton, the footballer of Tottenham Hotspur who was also out of the ground due to injury but ultimately secured a position in the World Cup Squad of England in 1998. He took part in a qualifying match on Tuesday that ended in a draw. He said in a press meet that he shared a very cordial relationship with England manager Southgate and he was continuously in touch with him when Lallana was ill. He was hopeful for playing all the matches for England in the World Cup. England will resume their World Cup journey with the match with Tunisia on 18th June 2018 in Volgograd Russia.
