On Wednesday Barcelona achieved a splendid win over Liverpool by 3-0. In the second half of the match, Lionel Messi made two goals which helped Barcelona to beat Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final first leg at the Camp Nou. Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez opened the scoring at midway through the opening half. The second goal by Messi was an incredible long-range free-kick and at the same time, it was his 600th Barcelona goal in all competitions.

It turned out to be a memorable performance from the Argentine star and commentators Gary Lineker and Rio Ferdinand absolutely lost it after Messi’s free-kick.

Rio Ferdinand had uploaded a video on his official Twitter handle showing the former Manchester United defender and Gary Lineker went crazy as Luis Garcia was so surprised that he could not believe his eyes and had his hands on his head.

Rio Ferdinand covered his mouth and Gary Lineker turned to the screen shouting “wow”. However, Messi refused to take all the credits for the win which also Luis Suarez score against his former club.
