JIO, Airtel to Live Stream FIFA World Cup 2018 Matches Free for Users

On Thursday, June 14, 2018-Airtel Co. and Reliance Jio Co. have announced that their respective live TV apps – Jio TV and Airtel TV – will live stream the FIFA World Cup 2018 for free for their subscribers in India. The FIFA World Cup 2018, is the biggest football tournament of the year, being held in Russia. If you a fan of a football match, you would love to watch the FIFA World Cup 2018 matches scheduled to taking place between June 14 and July 15, and they will be live streamed on the Jio TV and Airtel TV app for free. Moreover, the upcoming India-Afghanistan test match held from June 14 to June 18 will also be available without any cost for Jio TV subscribers.

Airtel TV would provide live broadcasts of the FIFA World Cup 2018 matches to users in addition to Hindi and English with various other languages. Also, users will have access to match schedules and other updates related to the game. They can also watch exclusive behind the scenes match snippets, along with match previews/ reviews on the app. To enjoy all these updates and features, Airtel TV users should upgrade their application to the latest version of the Android or iOS app.

The company has announced that the Jio TV, now has around 100 million users, and in the coming a few days more such offers for Jio users will be announced. On the other hand, Airtel given report that its live TV app has 50 million downloads on Android, and extended the free service till December this year.

Similarly, the Jio TV app will also offer the premium sports content for free to Jio users, as the telecom operator is now stepping up its game in the competitive telecom market where rivals like Vodafone, Airtel, and Idea have also been introducing new offers for their users.
