India Defeats Bangladesh In A Nail Biting Finish in The Trination Series

Colombo March 18- The Indian cricket team battled for their survival and managed to clinch the trophy from a resolute Bangladesh side yesterday. The Indian team won the match after Dinesh Karthik hit an over boundary in the final of the Tri- natrion series. At the final stage of the game India needed 34 runs in two overs and Karthik did the needful. He made a quick 29 runs out of just 8 balls and helped not only his captain to win the trophy but also saved the pride of Indian cricket team .
The Bangladesh side was not ready to leave even an inch to their opponent without fight and they performed as a cohesive unit.

Initially the top three batsmen went to the pavilion quickly but after that Bangladesh bounced back in the game and the team made finished with 166 runs after losing 8 wickets. Shabbir Rahman the number three batsman made a scintillating knock of 77 runs and thus put his tem in a stable position. The Indian side began their innings chasing a target of 167 runs and lost the wickets of opener Shikhar Dhawanand ace batsman Suresh Raina quite early but Indian skipper Rohit Sharma made a very useful 56 runs and stabilized his side with the help of K.L Rahul who made a quick 24 runs .Sharma went on to hit a slog sweep in a ball of Nazmul Islam by helping the Bangladesh bowler to gift his captain the precious wicket of the Indian sklpper. Rohit Sharma made a captain’s knock of 56 runs with three sixes and four bnoundaries.

After this Bangladeshi bowler’s especially Mustafizur Rahman performed especialy Mustafizur Rahman performed extremely well and gave only a single run in one of his overs when Vijay Shankar was on the crease. He claimed the wicket of Manish Pandey in the ver next ball of that particular over. After this Dinesh Karthik began his innings by hitting a six in the very first ball of Rubel Hossain. India needed 12 runs ot 6 balls to win the match. Karthik hit a six in the final ball of Soumya Sarkar and the match ends in a nail biting finish.
