Famous for his vibrant, artistic and colorful creations, Manish Arora celebrated ten years of showcasing his collections at the Paris Fashion Week. The veteran designer is the first and the only Indian designer to showcase at the Fashion Week straight for a decade.
He commemorated the occasion with a reflective installation of all his personal favourite garments from all the shows across the 20 seasons. The designer also unveiled his new creative studio at Dhan Mill Compound, Chhatarpur on Sunday. The location of the studio seems perfect as Chhatarpur is considered the capital’s oasis for the arts.
In his presence at the Paris Fashion Week, Manish has presented his one of a kind technicolor vision to the fashion world. He is known for his fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship and modern fits.
In a statement the designer said, “I am honoured to have been a part of the prestigious Paris Fashion Week as the only Indian designer showcasing since the last 10 years. The platform is an important one as it has given me the opportunity to represent India in its pure vibrancy.”
On his creative design studio, he added: “The space will be my design studio, epitomising happiness, joy, and glorious celebrations, illustrating what makes life truly beautiful.”
His brand exhibits itself as a fusion of textile detail, eye-catching ornamentation and all things colour with a contemporary twist, all a part of a luxury lifestyle.
Manish Arora has a strong sales base in China, and has recently opened two stores in Shanghai and Suzhou in December 2017. He plans to open three more this year. And now after securing his place in the European fashion scene, the designer is looking to expand his label in the east.
