Uttar Pradesh Sanctions Rs 150 Crore For Developing Pilgrim Centres

Mathura: A cabinet minister said that the Uttar Pradesh government has given an opportunity to the development of Worth Rs. 150 crore. The government has sanctioned proposals to improve the infrastructure of noted pilgrim centers of the state. UP Power Minister Srikant Sharma said

“The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has greenlit proposals of Rs 150 crore of the of the Uttar Pradesh Tirth Vikas Parishad and would lay their foundation stone on August 31. The Chief Minister is also committed to not only reviving the ancient glory of Brijbhumi, but turning it into a model pilgrim Centre.”

The Power Minister also discuss about development plans in the states. On that note he said that Brijbhumi was “neglected” by successive government in the state, but it was only the present dispensation which declared Vrindavan, Govardhan, Radha Kund, Barsana, Nandgaon, Gokul and Badleo as pilgrim Centers. He also added that the formation of Uttar Pradesh Brij Tirth Vikas Parishad, barely three months after the formation of Yogi Adityanath Government, stands testimony to the current dispensations commitment to developing pilgrim Centers in the states.
