US Asks Citizens Don’t Visit to Visit Kerala Due to Floods & Landslides

New Delhi: The United States asked it citizens not to visit Kerala due to the flash floods in the state. It has issued an advisory so, citizens will be aware before the visiting the state. The US said in the advisory that the heavy southwest monsoon rains triggered landslides and floods in the state, and American citizens should avoid visiting all affected all visiting all affected areas in the state.

“More than 22 people have died due the heavy rainfall and over flooding  in the past two days” said Home Ministry. Pinarayi Vijayan Chief Minister describe it as very horried situation. Due to the heavy rainfall and flood also triggered landslides at some places.

The water level is rising in various dams and almost their maximum capacity, shutters of at least 22 reservoirs in Kerala and drains have been opened to out the excess water.
