Rahul Gandhi referred ‘Rafale Deal’ as biggest ever scam of India

Today, once again the Congress President Rahul Gandhi referred the “Rafale Deal” as the country’s biggest scam ever to take place. He accused the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi behind the Rafale fighter jet misleading deal.

While addressing in a Raipur event, he said that the value of Rafale jet risen ‘magically’ from the amount of Rs. 540 to Rs. 1600 crore per aircraft.

In 2015, India has already signed an agreement for the procurement of 36 Rafale fighter jets from France, Mr. Gandhi informs this to the Raipur crowd. He said, “The UPA government had readied the Rafale contract, according to which the price for each jet was approximately Rs. 5409 crore. The contract was ready and Modi ji only had to take a decision. But, Modi Ji goes to France and scraps the previous contract and the Defence Minister and other cabinet ministers do not know about it.”

He also accused that the contract related to the aircraft was dismissed from state-owned HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) and were offered to a privately owned company, which without any proper contract produced an airplane.

He also claimed, “The Company, which was given the contract, was in a debt of Rs. 45,000 crore.”

After the inauguration of the newly-constructed party-office of Congress, for which he visited Raipur, Mr. Gandhi said that PM Modi did not utter a word on this case and on the Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar rape case, he added.

Mr. Gandhi also exclaimed the country’s condition to be the poorest under the surveillance of Modi-government. He referred to the rape incident that taking place is the worst compared to that not happened in the “last 3000 years.”
