President of US, Donald Trump have been invited to visit India. However, no decisions have yet been taken by him, on Wednesday report the White House.
When reporters asked Sarah Sander, Secretary of White House Press about the invitation of MP Modi, she reports, “I know that the invitation has been extended, but I do not believe that a final decision has been made.” US President Trump is invited by PM of India as a Chief Guest of 2019 Republic Day in New Delhi.
Meanwhile, she informed that Defence Secretary James Mattis and the United States Secretary Mike Pompeo would be visiting India very soon for the discussion on 2+2 dialogue, which will be held in India with Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. At a regular press conference, MS. Sanders said, “The 2 + 2 dialogue would be the discussion on the process of a presidential visit next year.”
She further said, “The United States and India have a deep and strategic partnership and we are going to continue to build on that partnership and advance co-operation,”
Ms. Sanders added, “I think, you will see that in the meeting that would take place in September.”
