New Delhi, March 30 – An ally of the BJP, LOK SHAKTI PARTY of veteran leader Ram Vilas Paswan today advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be more lenient on the backward class people especially the Muslims otherwise he would find it quite difficult to win the general elections next year. Modi came into power in 2014 with a landslide victory but recently the ruling party lost its ground in a few states recently. Paswan also said that Modi would win the forthcoming Loksabha elections again but the BJP would have to change is perception of a party of upper caste people . He also criticized the top BJP leaders for their inclination towards staunch Hinduism. He also blamed the cow vigilant groups or the Gau Rakshaks for attacking innocent Muslims for eating beef or killing cows. He said that this would be a serious concern for Modi as opposition could take undue advantage of the situation. He urged the Prime Minister to handle the situation tactfully. When asked by the media whether he ever thought of severing ties with the ruling party he answered it was unthinkable and he had a deep veneration for the Prime Minister and he strongly believe that Modi would be a sure winner in the forthcoming general elections to be held next year.
