Modi Government Announces To Spend 100 Billion On Health Insurance

New Delhi – The Central Government yesterday announced to spend 100 billion rupees for it’s health insurance programme.The government has taken this positive step to provide insurance cover to nearly half of the population of the country according to J.P. Nadda , the Union Health Minister . Modi Government has termed this health scheme as “Medicare’ according to the minister. This health scheme will ensure the health care of 100 million families and they will get a benefit of 500,000 rupees from this scheme for the treatment of serious diseases .The Prime Minister has taken this unique measure to reform the public health system that has a paucity of good hospitals and efficient doctors. In recent years the prices of drugs have gone beyond the reach of the common man and this will give a welcome relief to the people who belong to the lower strata of the society according to the Health Minister of India.
