New Delhi,March 26- The Modi Government recently announced that it would ensure the farmers the correct price for their products .The Prime Minister said on Sunday that the Government was planning to increase the price of the farm goods in a way that would benefit the farmers in the long run. The price of farm goods would include land rentals and unpaid for labour by the family members of the farmers.He did not made it clear whether the production cost would include just input or other costs would also be included in it. According to the experts the Prime Minister took this step to woo farmers ahead of general elections to be held next year. The Central government has decided to set a minimum support price or MSP for two dozens of commodities he elaborated in his speech that it would include labour cost of other workers, workers employed, expenses incurred on own animals and cost of animals. machinery taken on rent , cost of seeds , cost of each type of fertilizers used , irrigation costs ,land revenues paid to the state Government , interest paid on working capital , ground rent in case of a land taken on lease. The experts cautioned the Prime Minister that an increase in minimum support price could trigger inflation and it would increase the fiscal deficit . They also opined that it could hurt the countries export business too. Hence the Central Government took the measures to save the farmers.
