An underworld don is direful towards Sanjay Dutt if he does not show up in the Ganpati visarjan ceremony. Sanjay Dutt reveals this in his father Sunil Dutt. Surprisingly his father takes him to the seashore and talks about a similar incident that occurred with him in the past.
Sanjay Dutt aka Sanju has been portrayed as a rich brat in the movie. His parents are famous, he is unaware to keep up with those enormous expectations. Usually, other people make a choice on his behalf, and substance abuse becomes one of those choices.
He has a heartbreak when he breaks up with his girlfriend Ruby (Sonam Kapoor). However, his heart seems to join back after he meets a Gujarati NRI Kamlesh played by Vicky Kaushal in the movie. Sanju is a total mess. Rajkumar Hirani has made the movie too much interesting in the first half which establishes the impact of drugs on his life.
The variant performance of Ranbir Kapoor has made an everlasting impact on the viewers. The makers have added a sympathetic tone towards the subject. In the movie, we experience an immoral womanizer who feels the shame for being down. The phase of life Sanjay Dutt goes through is very well played by the on-screen character Ranbir Kapoor.
“Sanju” movie depicts that an actor or directors have links with the underworld is just a rumor. Hirani depicts media as the enemy. Ranbir Kapoor has been a darling with his performance in the movie and has made it worth watching.
