The star of AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Andrew Lincoln will quit the show behind the next season, which is in production at present.

US Weekly reported the desertion of the English Actor who is most recognized for his portrayal of Rick Grimes. The Walking Dead star is reportedly reviled to show his presence in the six season’s episodes.

The new outlet was reported by a source that Lincoln 44, is all set to exit the show in order to focus on movies. Walking Dead is among the top AMC shows, and has entered the ratings in the neoteric seasons as the viewership has fallen down.

The promulgated departure of the ‘Walking Dead’ actor is one of the sundry blows the show has experienced in the recent times.

The showrunner of the Series Scott Gimple was fostered to a role that governs “The Walking Dead” and its spinoff “Fear the Walking Dead” with Angela Kang the writer making way for his role.

Moreover, the on-screen son of Lincoln Chandler Rigg’s Carl was driven out of the show during the eleventh month of the year.

However, Lincoln was not responsive to a request for comment, while AMC turned thumbs down to comment.
