The UK ban Huawei 5G Kit, to be discontinued by 2027 - TNBC USA

Today The United Kindom put a phased removal of the Chinese telecom Giant from the 5G network by 2027

The Boris Johnson government announced the removal of existing equipment of the Brand by 2027 and a ban on buying new equipment of the company from December this year. Despite the warning of retaliation from Beijing.

The announcement came after The US put pressure on Huawei stating the equipment could be used by China to spy on the Data network and on Citizen, who has already imposed sanctions on the company.

British Digital minister Mr. Oliver  Dowden said, “This has not been an easy decision, but it is the right one for the UK telecoms networks, for our national security and our economy, both now and indeed in the long run,”

The introduction of 5G is praised as a potentially transformative technology, not only a faster connection for phones but also other smart devices. Now without the infrastructure user may not be able to use their 5G devices to their full potential. The restriction has also been imposed on the broadband kit of the company.

According to Huawei, ” Bad news for anyone in the UK with a mobile phone” and threatened to “move Britain into the digital slow lane, push up bills and deepen the digital divide.” However, the ban not affected Huwaei’s smartphone market in the UK.

BT and Vodafone have already warned their customer of a potential network outage if the government force to remove the 5G kit in a short span of time.
