The Automakers and the dealers are now taken initiatives to ensure safety and precautions keeping the Coronavirus in mind. From Sanitization to contactless home delivery of the Vehicles and booking and buying a car through online platform.
One recent initiatives the Tata Motors has taken the protocol a step further. The carmaker now delivering new cars completely sanitized inside a protected plastic wrap. The initiative has been share by the Tata Motors on social media where it has been noticed the cars are in a ‘safety bubble’ before they are handed over to their customer.
It says on the social platform, “our latest addition to Sanitised by Tata Motors, ensuring your favourite cars and SUVs are shielded from germs while they await you at our dealerships”
Along with the safety steps for its Cars, the automaker has also taken new initiatives for its valued customers. It has launched several health and hygiene products such as air purifier, air filter and sanitization kits. The air purifier can be easily fitted in the cup holder slot of all Tata cars. The air filter on the other hand can be installed in the Nexon and the Harrier as of now. Sanitization kit includes hand sanitizer, N95 masks, hand gloves, safety touch key, tissue box, mist diffuser among others.
In April this year, right after the country witnessed its first phase of lockdown, Tata Motors had started its digital, contactless buying program ‘Click to Drive’ which. It was aimed to give prospective customers the option of buying cars from the company using digital means. It integrated 750 outlets across the country into one online platform and offered the option to get new cars delivered at home.
