Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again puzzled his 27.6 million social media followers when he surprisingly changed the name to “-1” on Twitter.
“What’s the deal with -1? Can someone explain,” wrote a confused Twitter user, on a meme that Musk has shared after changing the name on July 24.
Some users also tried to find out a possible reason for such puzzle of “-1”.
Shubham Pawar commented, “His name is Elon and in (e) is 1. The Starship test of SpaceX has failed twice, hence 1-2 is -1.”
Calculating it mathematically, “e”- the natural constant is a math constant – the unique number whose natural log is equaled to “1”.
Earlier on July 24, SpaceX has fired up its ‘Starhopper’ test rocket in Texas, its biggest hope yet, but the rocket terminated the flight within few second into the attempt. Instead of steeping up around 20-meters (65-feet) as expected, the rocket released flame and smoke then went down.
The ‘Starhopper’ test vehicle of SpaceX has attempted its first unsuccessful test step on Wednesday at Boca Chica, the test site of the company in Texas. The rocket didn’t lift off as expected even then.
It seems that Elon may be evaluating his efforts against the failure of his rocket tests.
However, his fans were quick to offer him some relief.
A Twitter user wrote, “Elon you ok man?”
Some of his followers urge him to change his name to ‘infinity sign’ the next time as everyone needs his forever. Another user wrote, “We need you for infinitely”.
